Recently, Donna Buccellato, Elder Abuse Educator for the Victims Information Bureau of Suffolk (VIBS), conducted a presentation for the team in our In-Home Respite Services program. The feedback was very positive, as the workshop created greater awareness of the complicated issues surrounding elder abuse and will also allow our companions to be more alert to problems they may encounter in clients’ homes.

EAC Network experts recently attended the National TASC Conference in Ohio, which brings hundreds of individuals from around the country together to explore the latest advancements and issues in the treatment and recovery of justice-involved individuals with behavioral health needs. EAC Network’s TASC and other behavioral health programs are internationally recognized for the impact they have on people’s lives, and it’s thanks to our very own leadership team we have to thank for that!
Enhanced Supervised Visitation Family Coaches Caitlin Maraj, Estefania Yactayo, Dinah Torres-Castro, and Luz Martinez received certificates of recognition for their outstanding work to support children and parents at the 33rd Annual Child Abuse & Neglect/Family Violence Volunteer and Professional Recognition Day.
EAC Network cares for our community because our staff care for our community. We can’t do it without our amazing, hardworking social workers, case managers, and more. Our employees always make that extra phone call, fill out that extra form, run that extra errand, whatever it takes to make sure our clients have everything they need to succeed.
