Bruno Yactayo, our Bilingual Family Advocate at the Suffolk County Child Advocacy Center (CAC), recently presented at the Comsewogue Community Connections Night to families of the hispanic community at Comsewogue High School. Not only does the CAC treat child victims of abuse, but it also aims to educate community members on signs of abuse so that it can be identified and addressed sooner rather than later.
The “Women of West Islip,” represented by Carmela R., ran a Share the Love stuffed animal drive and donated dozens of cute and fluffy animals to our Suffolk County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) to help provide comfort to child victims of abuse and neglect. Thank you, Women of West Islip!
Once again, MAC Cosmetics volunteers made a difference for EAC Network’s Nutrition Education & Food Services pantry. Over the past 15 years, this small army of enthusiastic MAC volunteers has worked their magic by donating thousands of hours for our food pantry and making a difference for People Living with HIV/ADS.
