About the trainer, Elena Bayrock Sapora:
Elena Bayrock Sapora first began mediating when she was fifteen as a peer mediator at Thomas Tallis Secondary School in London. This formative experience solidified her deep commitment to encouraging direct constructive dialogue as a way to strengthen relationships and communities. Elena has trained audiences of all ages on mediation, conflict resolution, and effective communication. With a background in theater and movement, Elena’s trainings are active, energetic, and engaging. She respects all learning styles and supports each person as they integrate new learning and skills. In addition to her training experience, Elena has presented on various topics at national conferences, such as the Association for Conflict Resolution and American Bar Association Dispute Resolution. Elena is a certified Initial Mediation Trainer by the New York State Unified Court System Office of ADR and Court Improvement Programs.
