March 10 is National Women & Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, a day in which we recognize the struggle of people living with HIV/AIDS. We also use this day to empower women to make healthy choices when it comes to HIV/AIDS, whether they are already living with the disease, or whether they need advice on how to prevent it.
Programs
According to the CDC, 96% of parents and/or caregivers believe that they have properly installed their child’s car safety seat. In reality, seven out of ten children are improperly restrained in a passenger vehicle. These conflicting statistics shed light on the need for prevalent child safety seat education programs.

Aneesah is a member of our Transitional Case Management (TCM) program, which helps individuals in the criminal justice system in Suffolk County transition from incarceration back into society. TCM provides resources, case management, treatment, and housing referrals to our clients.
