JOIN US FOR OUR 28TH ANNUAL GOLF FOR GOOD ON SEPTEMBER 19!
EAC Network hosts four main fundraisers a year. These events help us fill in the gaps for programs that are not funded, have reduced funding, or have lost funding. With over 70 programs to help Long Islanders and New Yorkers in need, there’s always a program that could use a little extra support to do even more good in our community. Of our four annual fundraisers, our golf outing is the longest running. This year is our 28th consecutive year hosting Golf for Good.
Each outing recognizes individuals who have made commitments to our community and this year is no different. Christopher Lambert of Axis Construction will be recognized with the Honoree Award, and Senator John J. Flanagan of the New York State Senate will receive the Steven J. Eisman Humanitarian Award.
A “wow factor” this year is a wonderful new location to host the event. We will be golfing for the good of our community at the luxurious Meadow Brook Club in Jericho. With an event that has been running for 28 years, it’s always nice to change things up once in a while! We are so excited to allow our participants to enjoy all that the Meadow Brook Club has to offer.
Golf for Good is a full day of fun, networking, and, of course, golf! The event starts at 10:30am with registration, a golfer gift, and a delicious brunch. 12:30pm is the shotgun start, when our golfers will take off onto the beautiful course. There will be friendly competitions for prizes like closest to the pin, longest yard, and up to three hole in one games! At the end of the tournament, awards will be given to the most “honest” golfer, best foursome, and best man and woman. Non-golfers can join in the fun at the cocktail and awards reception at 5:30pm. Evening attendees will enjoy delectable food, beverages, and a good time. You won’t want to miss out on our exciting prizes, like JetBlue plane tickets, a flat screen TV, and more!
