Hempstead, NY – November 3, 2017 – EAC Network is thrilled to announce that long-time volunteer, Kevin P. Murphy, has joined its Board of Directors.
For over 20 years Mr. Murphy has volunteered with the human service agency’s Long Island Dispute Resolution Centers (LIDRC) program, which provides conflict resolution interventions that help individuals, families, businesses, and the community at large to resolve a wide range of disputes. As a volunteer mediator, Mr. Murphy helps both families and community members resolve a wide range of disputes.
“Providing this type of conflict resolution intervention has been an extremely rewarding and humbling experience,” said Mr. Murphy. “I view the opportunity to serve as a member of the EAC Network Board as a natural evolution of my commitment to this great organization.”
In his professional life, Mr. Murphy has worked for several of the world’s largest telecoms companies including AT&T. In his current role as a Global Account Director at Vodafone, he has overall accountability for the revenue, profitability, retention, and customer satisfaction of some of the world’s largest media and finance companies. His position has also allowed for him to travel extensively both domestically and internationally and to work with an extremely diverse group of people across multiple countries and cultures.
Mr. Murphy lives in Mount Sinai with his wife and two children.
