EAC Network received a grant of $5,000 from Nassau County Bar Association’s WE CARE Fund for its Nassau Supervised Visitation program.

The lack of positive parent-child relationships can hinder children’s emotional growth and development. Nassau Supervised Visitation offers non-custodial parents access to visit with their children in order to develop vital parent-child relationships in a safe, neutral, and supervised setting.

WE CARE Fund’s grant will assist EAC Network’s Visit Specialists like Jessica Lardizzone, who works with pre-adolescent and adolescent girls who have experienced trauma to rebuild relationships between parents and their children.

“My staff and I are thankful for WE CARE Fund’s continuous support,” said Dorothy Worrell, Program Director of Nassau Supervised Visitation. “The grant will make a significant impact for local families working hard to stay in each other’s lives.”
