Staff at Clear Vision Optical participated in the Suffolk County Child Advocacy Center’s (CAC) month-long Pinwheels for Prevention campaign by decorating pinwheels to bring awareness to Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Bruno Yactayo, our Bilingual Family Advocate at the Suffolk County Child Advocacy Center (CAC), recently presented at the Comsewogue Community Connections Night to families of the hispanic community at Comsewogue High School. Not only does the CAC treat child victims of abuse, but it also aims to educate community members on signs of abuse so that it can be identified and addressed sooner rather than later.
Young ladies in our Alternatives for Youth (AFY) and Chance to Advance programs recently enjoyed a makeup workshop courtesy of donations of makeup packages by Bare Minerals, lip gloss by J Paige Beauty, and nails by Kiss Nails!
