Seniors & the Incapacitated Services

EAC Network is the largest provider of Meals on Wheels in Nassau County. We act as guardians for seniors who are unable to manage aspects of daily life on their own. Our senior centers provide warm meals, exercise, and social interaction to local seniors. We also offer technology classes as well as trained companions to relieve caregivers.

Community Guardianship

Community Guardianship manages the personal and/or financial affairs of an individual who cannot manage for him/herself due to physical injuries, mental illness, developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, or other age-related dementia.

SeniorNet teaches individuals over 60 years of age how to use technology.

The Surrogate Decision Making Commitee

Surrogate Decision Making Committee (SDMC)

SDMC intervenes on the behalf of individuals who cannot give informed consent due to their physical or mental state to oversee medical decisions and ensure the individual’s best interests.
