ROBERT STRICOFF JOINS EAC NETWORK AS CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

EAC Network, a non-profit agency that helps 43,000 people in need throughout Long Island and New York City, is pleased to announce that Robert Stricoff has joined the agency as its newly appointed Chief Development Officer. Stricoff will oversee all of EAC Network’s development, communications, and external relations.

Robert joins EAC Network following a successful tenure with Molloy College as its Senior Advancement Officer.  During his first year at Molloy College, Robert was integral to ensuring the College’s fundraising successes which included the recruitment of event honorees for its Golf and Fall events. Over the past two years, Robert is credited with raising over $2.5 million dollars in private and public donations that supported the Molloy College mission.  He also served in several Economic Development and Government Affairs leadership positions prior to joining Molloy College in December of 2018.

Starting in 1997, Robert spent 17 years in various senior policy making roles in Babylon Town and Suffolk County’s political and governmental arena.  He orchestrated and led 17 consecutive winning campaigns for elected officials at all levels of government.  Robert authored the economic development policy for the Town of Babylon & Suffolk County.  As the CEO of the Town of Babylon Industrial Development Agency, in a period between 2003 and 2014, Robert orchestrated 135 deals resulting in $1 billion invested in our region.

Thanking Bob Stricoff for his leadership and dedication towards the enhancement of Long Island’s economic development, former Babylon Supervisor and current Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone said, “New jobs and more businesses help the overall health and economic welfare of our region.  More businesses means a more stable tax base, more businesses means more jobs for Long Island, and Bob Stricoff played a large role in bringing good businesses and jobs to Suffolk County and Long Island.”

After graduating from Queens College, Robert enlisted in the United States Army and spent three years as a supply room specialist with the 25th Infantry Division. While serving our country, Robert was awarded the Army Service Medal, Meritorious Service Award, the Army Commendation Medal and Primary Leadership Medal.  In 1995 Bob was promoted to Sergeant, a Non-Commissioned Officer of the United States Army.  He was Honorably Discharged in 1996.

Robert Stricoff is a Board Member of ACIT and the Babylon Little League and graduate of the Energeia Partnership. He graduated from CUNY Queens College with a BA in 1991, and received an MSA from Central Michigan University in 1996. Robert is married to Abigail and they reside in Oak Beach with their two sons, Ben (15) and John (12).
