Newsday Charities Long Island COVID-19 Relief Grant Supports EAC Network’s Children’s Programs with PPE
EAC Network received a generous Newsday Charities Long Island COVID-19 Relief Grant, in the amount of $10,000, in support of Disaster Relief for EAC Network’s Children’s Programs. The grant will provide personal protective equipment (PPE) for clients of EAC Network’s Children’s Programs throughout 2021.
“We thank Newsday Charities for recognizing that people in crisis may not always be recognizable. In fact, children are part of our region’s most vulnerable populations, so we are grateful that Newsday Charities is working to change that. This generous Disaster Relief Grant will provide personal protective equipment to clients, within EAC Network’s Children’s Programs, which will help to promote their health and safety,” said Tania Peterson Chandler, Esq., MPA, SHRM-CP, EAC Network’s Interim President & CEO/Vice President of Operations.
EAC Network joins Newsday Charities in uniting the community in support of those who are less fortunate. EAC Network’s relationship with Newsday Charities is an integral part of that work, and EAC Network thanks Newsday Charities for providing much needed assistance to those Long Islanders most impacted by the pandemic.
