Meet Paul M. O’Brien, Esq.
New York-based Burner Prudenti Law Attorney, valuable EAC legal advisor, & 2024 Golf For Good Honoree

Paul M. O’Brien, Esq. of Burner Prudenti Law P.C. and EAC Network’s 2024 Golf For Good Honoree discusses his work as a legal advisor for EAC’s Community Guardianship Program, EAC’s Suffolk County E-MDT Committee, and how Golf For Good positively impacts aging New Yorkers and those in need of Empowerment, Assistance, and Care.

Paul uses his valuable legal expertise to serve EAC’s Community Guardianship Program and help aging New Yorkers dealing with physical or mental illness, developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, and more.

He’s also a legal advisor on EAC’s Suffolk County Elder Abuse Enhanced Multidisciplinary Team (E-MDT), working with Program Coordinator, Hailey Gordon, who ensures that clients get the necessary combination of resources, expertise, attention, and guidance. A solutions-oriented litigator and dedicated client advocate, Paul contests guardianships and estate litigation proceedings in the Surrogate’s Courts. His courtroom and dispute resolution experience keeps clients informed, while avoiding business succession and estate planning conflicts and pitfalls. In addition to his vital EAC involvement, Paul is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, where he’s Co-Chair of the Surrogate’s Court Committee serving various Part 36 roles in New York State courts.

EAC’s 34th Annual Golf For Good—an event representing community and teamwork—is on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Manhasset’s North Hills Country Club from 10AM to 8PM. While golf spots are sold-out, you can still support by joining us for dinner, becoming a sponsor, or via golf course signage. Visit EAC’s website for more details.
