EAC Network is Looking For a Few Good TCS New York City Marathon Runners!

EAC Network, a non-profit human services agency, is looking for runners and sponsors to join and participate in its 2017 TCS New York City Marathon team. The funds raised by the runners and sponsors will help the agency to empower, assist, and care for more than 70,000 neighbors in need within the five boroughs of New York City and across Long Island. This is the fourth consecutive year that EAC Network has a team registered in a New York Road Runners’ event.

“EAC Network joins together with 350 other Official Charity Partners, in a race that has the power to change lives within the communities where we all live,” said Lance W. Elder, President & CEO of EAC Network. “Our goal is to enlist the support of three caring athletes who will run for us on Sunday, November 5th. Their leadership will help to raise awareness and support for a wide spectrum of innovative programs that serve and protect our region’s most vulnerable populations including abused and neglected children, at-risk youth, families in crisis, seniors in need of Meals On Wheels and respite for their caregivers, and those suffering with substance abuse or mental health issues.”

The TCS New York City Marathon requires that all charity runners raise funds for the organization they’re running for. EAC Network is looking for its event sponsors and runners to partner together in raising $3,500 per runner that will not only support the agency’s mission, but also cover the runner’s race registration fees.
