Kids Helping Kids by Kids Way Delivers Hope and Warmth to Children in Need During the Covid-19 Pandemic
Thanks to the generosity of Kids Helping Kids by Kids Way, Inc., thousands of children in need from all walks of life throughout Long Island and New York City will receive the gift of warmth amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Kids Helping Kids by Kids Way, led by Bob Eslick and founded by his sons Robert and Philip in 1997, once again donated new branded only winter coats and apparel for at-risk children.
Tania Peterson Chandler, Interim President & CEO and Vice President of Operations at EAC Network said, “EAC Network couldn’t be more grateful to Bob Eslick and Kids Helping Kids for their generosity in helping our community’s most vulnerable youth, especially during the pandemic when the need is so great. This year we are especially grateful as we see families struggle with the far-reaching effects of the pandemic.” Wearing a new branded winter coat not only helps children to stay warm but it also helps in building self-esteem.
The children who will receive winter coats and apparel include children who have been abused, neglected, and/or sexually exploited, those in foster care, or having a parent or guardian who may be struggling with substance abuse, mental illness, or financial instability, and other children in need through EAC Network affiliations or partnerships.
