Hempstead, NY – January 28, 2019 – Recently appointed to EAC Network’s Board of Directors is Daniel Schor, Vice President of Human Resources and Deputy Labor Counsel at Highgate Hotels, where he oversees and directs the Human Resources and Labor Relations functions at a multitude of unionized hotel properties across the United States.
Schor is an experienced attorney with a multidisciplinary focus that includes labor and employment, real estate, and litigation. He provides strategic and legal counsel on a variety of real estate and corporate initiatives as well as maintains oversight over outside counsel with respect to ongoing litigation and arbitration.

Prior to joining Highgate Hotels, Schor worked as the Director of Labor Relations for Nassau County. He has also served as Associate General Counsel to Transdev North America and as an associate attorney at Bee Ready Fishbein Hatter and Donovan LLP. Schor is actively involved in a variety of business and philanthropic organizations, and he lectures to both graduate and undergraduate students in his fields of expertise.

Schor is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and is admitted to practice in both the State of New York and the United States District Court. He received his undergraduate degree from Hofstra University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Schor currently lives in Roslyn, New York with his wife Melody and their son Josh, with a new family member on the way this March!
