Bethpage Federal Credit Union Gives $10,000 In Gift Cards To Children In Need
Despite the many challenges surrounding the Covid-19 Pandemic, Bethpage Federal Credit found a way to once again support a joyful holiday tradition by funding $10,000 in gift cards to 100 children in care from EAC Network’s Chance to Advance foster advocacy, mentorship, and enrichment program that helps to develop the educational, artistic, athletic, and cultural talents of children in foster care.
Additional children who will benefit from Bethpage Federal Credit Union’s generosity include underprivileged and foster care children from more EAC Network programs, and other Long Island community partner programs that serve low-income children that are 8 to 21 years of age.
This year, as part of EAC Network’s ongoing commitment of adhering to critical measures that promote the safety and health of children, parents, guardians, staff, and community-at-large, the $10,000 in Walmart Gift Cards will be distributed by the organization individually to the children in lieu of a live in-store Shopping Spree event.
