On March 2, join us in celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday by supporting the Suffolk County Children’s Center at Cohalan Court, attending the Cohalan Cares for Kids event, and bringing a children’s book to promote literacy among our child clients in need!
Cohalan Cares for Kids is an annual fundraiser graciously hosted by the Suffolk County Bar Association that raises funds for the Children’s Center. The Children’s Center provides a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children while their parents or guardians attend to court business and promotes literacy by giving every child a book to take home each time they attend the Children’s Center – whether it’s once or 100 times.
Attendees will enjoy live music, prizes, food, beer, and more! All of the proceeds benefit the Children’s Center, which is largely funded for the year by this event.
