ANGELO, AN IN-HOME RESPITE SERVICES CLIENT AND U.S. VETERAN, IS GIFTED A TRIP TO WASHINGTON, D.C.
Angelo is a very special client of ours. We provide him with a companion through our In-Home Respite Services program, and in exchange we have the pleasure of knowing him. He is a WWII veteran who lives with his daughter Marianne in Nassau County. Angelo is revered in his community and has worked with local students at Valley Stream North High School to raise money for Honor Flight Long Island, an organization that flies WWII veterans to Washington, D.C. so they can see the memorials built in their honor.
Angelo was one of the lucky participants to visit our nation’s capital thanks to Honor Flight Long Island. He and Marianne visited several memorials during their trip.
We hope Angelo knows how much we appreciate his sacrifices for our country and our freedoms. We’re so proud of him and grateful to have him as our client. Thank you for your service, Angelo!
