Celebrating the Brooke Jackman Foundation

EAC Network is proud to have a long relationship with the Brooke Jackman Foundation, whose mission is to create and support programs enhancing the literacy and self-esteem of disadvantaged children and their families in and around the New York area. Every year before the start of the school year, we receive a huge delivery of Brooke Packs from the foundation. These Brooke Packs are backpacks filled with school supplies and engaging, age appropriate books. Check out our photos below from last year’s donation of Brooke Packs and some of the clients who received them!

The Brooke Jackman Foundation is hosting its 12th Annual Brooke Jackman Race for Literacy! This event is a 5k run (or walk!) at the Brooke Jackman Reading Garden at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School in Oyster Bay on Saturday, May 20th 2017 at 9:30am. This fun family day includes yoga stretches, great company, and delicious refreshments. Children’s Fun Run activities begin at 8:45 am and will include: face painting, tattoos, yoga, hula hoops, and much more. The 1/4-mile Fun Run for kids age 8 and under starts promptly at 9:00am. You can register for the race online here.
